Eduardo  Rivero Jr.
Eduardo Jr., age 88 of Cherry Hill on January 30, 2017. Beloved husband of 63 years to Amelia (nee Martinez). Devoted father of Yoli Rivero Lorenz, Bob, Art (Theresa) and Rick (Connie) Rivero. Loving grandfather of Rita (Thomas), Marc, Lisa, John, Mandy (Allen), Rianna (Tony), Jay, Ed, Nic, Anne, Maria, Nina and the late Tory and 4th generation Riley, Max, Sadie and Felix. Eduardo was born of Mexican parents in El Paso, Texas, where grew up with his sister Velia and met his bride. Ed served in the National Guard and worked for RCA then GE and traveled extensively through Europe, the Middle East and the USA with his wife and four children. Ed was proud to be president of the Spanish Cultural Club of Pittsburgh in the 1970's and was more recently active as a Spanish tutor. He was active at St. Thomas More Parish and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Ed was also an honorary Jewish War Veteran at the JCC in Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 4th 11:00 am. at St. Thomas More RC Church, 1439 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill where a viewing will be held 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Interment Private. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
