Chester married Peggy Hime in 1955 and together they had Chester “Boots” Bean, Kim Bean and Jennifer (Bean) Heitkamp. Chester and Peggy divorced in 1968. He married Eleanor Schmidt in 1973 and they had a son, Mark Bean. Chester also adopted Eleanor’s daughter, Debbie Becica. Chester and Eleanor divorced in 2012. Chester is survived by his sister, Marena (Bean) Riggin, all 5 of his children, as well as his 6 grandchildren (C.J., Rachel, Emma, Angela, Andrea, and Melissa) and 6 great-grandchildren (Dante, Julyan, Lilia, Zevvelyn, VeZiya and Remington).
